From Sultry Smokey Eyes to All-the-Drama Hair, these are the Most Stunning Beauty Highlights from Cannes

With fashion at the helm, Cannes literally brought blowout beauty with bombshell hair and starlet sparkling eyes. Throughout, classics such as ruby red lips and smokey eyes also reigned on the Riviera as the makeup artist’s choice for a beautifying look. And, Alexa Chung, Tina Kunakey, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley all donned the french-inspired rouge tint as the (pout) de resistance at this year’s festival. As well, edgier, sleeker looks were on display such as on actress Laura Harrier and model Soo Joo Park. Below, these beauty looks solidify Cannes as the ultimate hair and makeup inspo.

ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY

The perfect pout to a sultry brown smoked eye? MUA Hung Vanngo paired Rosie’s eyes with nude pink for that classic combo. Soft beachy waves from Christian Wood maintained a cool elegance.

GEMMA CHAN

Gemma’s side parted, romantically loose wave hair was understated and soft.

HALIMA

Eyes by makeup maestro Sir John kept Halima’s eyes dramatic and awashed in cerulean blue. Skin was softly lit and highlighted.

GIGI

Tonal makeup and bombshell hair set the stage for Gigi’s beauty look. MUA Patrick Ta and hair artist Dimitris Giannetos kept her picture-perfect with softly smoked taupe eyes and volumized hair.

ALEXA CHUNG

A red lip kept Alexa looking pout-ly chic.

SOO JOO PARK

Soo Joo’s jelled hair with long strands of wispies was a cool match to her lightly smoked out eye.

Stardust eyes sparkled on supermodel Ashley Graham. MUA Giulio Panciera completed Graham’s look with glowing, lit-from-within skin.

ROSÉ

That Audrey feeling. Rosie embodied the iconic actress with the Hepburn-esque Sabrina updo. Bangs were kept short and side swept.

ISABELLE HUPPERT

Isabelle’s hair story? Wispy, layered fringe and by-the-sun highlighted locks.

PALOMA ELSESSER

Paloma’s cut crease eyes, ombre lips, and soft glow base kept her beauty face forward at this year’s Cannes.

Elsa’s Viktor and Rolf Cinderella gown informed her eyes throughout. Eyes were made nod to the sixties with a cut-crease and swept with a powder blue eyeshadow.

HELENA CHRISTENSEN

Helena’s beauty details: Veronica Lake-esque side swept hair and ballerina pink eyes and lips.
